Role Overview
The Cloud Data Fusion Wrangler will be responsible for building and maintaining robust ETL pipelines using GCP Cloud Data Fusion, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading, and supporting microservices and API development for downstream systems. The role includes troubleshooting, optimization, and monitoring of data workflows to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using GCP Cloud Data Fusion
- Extract data from DB2, SQL Server; transform using Wrangler; load into PostgreSQL
- Implement logging and monitoring for pipelines using GCP services
- Build, test, and maintain Microservices / REST APIs for data consumers
- Ensure data completeness, integrity, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL pipeline issues in production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions
