Exponential Consultants is hiring for a reputed client in the housing finance / mortgage sector. We are looking for experienced Legal Professionals (Non-Litigation) with strong exposure to property due diligence and mortgage loan documentation.

🔍 Open Roles & Experience

• Legal Associate: 2–4 years
• Legal Manager: 4+ years

🏛️ Role Overview

You will manage end-to-end legal activities for mortgage loans, including property title verification, legal due diligence, and loan approval support, ensuring compliance with property and mortgage laws across India.

📝 Key Responsibilities

✔ Conduct legal due diligence for properties proposed to be mortgaged
✔ Prepare & issue Legal Search Reports (LSR) and Title Search Reports (TSR)
✔ Verify title deeds, sale deeds, agreements, ECs & related property documents
✔ Support creation of Equitable, Registered & Extended Mortgages
✔ Handle legal documentation for Pan-India properties
✔ Advise internal teams on stamp duty, registration & loan documentation
✔ Coordinate with registration offices, external counsel & stakeholders
✔ Ensure compliance with applicable property & mortgage regulations

✅ Mandatory Requirements

🔹 LLB from a reputed law college
🔹 Non-Litigation / Business Legal experience
🔹 Hands-on exposure to Mortgage Loans / Property Due Diligence
🔹 Strong understanding of property laws & mortgage documentation
🔹 Kannada (Read & Write) – Mandatory

⭐ Preferred Skills

➕ Experience in Affordable Housing / Home Loan / HFC sector
➕ Knowledge of stamp duty & registration processes
➕ Strong analytical & documentation skills
➕ Ability to manage multiple cases under tight timelines

🌐 Language Requirements

• English – Mandatory
• Kannada – Mandatory (Read & Write)
• Hindi / Marathi – Preferred

🗓️ Working Details

🗓 Monday–Saturday (First 2–3 Saturdays working as per requirement)
