We are looking for an experienced LS Retail / LS Central Developer (Maintenance & Support) to join a client project based onsite in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in application support, maintenance, and enhancements within LS Retail / LS Central on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This role focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, resolving production issues, implementing change requests, and providing technical support to business users in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, support, and enhance LS Retail / LS Central applications
- Handle day-to-day operational issues, bug fixes, and system performance improvements
- Develop and customize solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL / C/AL)
- Support integrations with POS systems, ERP, payment gateways, and third-party applications
- Perform root cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes for recurring issues
- Manage application deployments, upgrades, patches, and releases
- Coordinate with functional consultants, business users, and external vendors
- Prepare and maintain technical and system documentation
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training when required
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in LS Retail / LS Central development and support
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV
- Proficiency in AL / C/AL development
- Solid understanding of retail business processes including POS, inventory, pricing, and promotions
- Proven experience in application maintenance and production support environments
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, reporting, and data analysis
- Experience with system integrations and APIs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- LS Retail or Microsoft Dynamics certifications
- Experience with Power BI, Azure, or cloud-based deployments
- Prior experience supporting large or enterprise retail environments
