Exponential Consultants is hiring Senior AI Engineers who have strong hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling AI / ML / Deep Learning solutions in production environments. This role is ideal for professionals who are not just model builders, but problem solvers who can translate AI into real business value.

🎯 Role Overview

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will work on end-to-end AI systems — from data ingestion and model development to deployment, monitoring, and optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions at scale.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for real-world business use cases
• Work with large-scale datasets (structured & unstructured)
• Build end-to-end AI pipelines including preprocessing, training, inference, and monitoring
• Implement deep learning architectures based on problem statements
• Optimize models for latency, accuracy, and scalability
• Deploy AI models as APIs or microservices
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Product Teams, and Business Stakeholders
• Perform model performance tracking, drift detection, and retraining
• Document architectures, assumptions, and technical decisions

🧠 Mandatory Technical Skills (Minutest Requirements)

🔹 Programming & Core Engineering

• Strong proficiency in Python (advanced level)
• Hands-on with:
  • NumPy, Pandas
  • Scikit-learn
• Experience with SQL for data extraction & analysis
• Experience using Git for version control

🔹 Machine Learning & AI Fundamentals

• Strong understanding of:
  • Supervised & Unsupervised Learning
  • Classification, Regression, Clustering
  • Dimensionality Reduction
  • Recommendation Systems
• Solid grasp of:
  • Feature engineering & feature selection
  • Model evaluation metrics (AUC, F1, Precision-Recall, RMSE, etc.)
  • Bias-variance tradeoff
  • Overfitting & regularization techniques

🔹 Deep Learning Expertise (Mandatory)

• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow / Keras / PyTorch
• Strong understanding of:
  • Neural Networks (ANNs)
  • CNNs (for image/video use cases)
  • RNNs, LSTMs, GRUs (for sequential data)
  • Transformers (BERT, GPT-style models – preferred)
• Experience in at least one domain:
  • NLP (text classification, NER, embeddings, LLMs)
  • Computer Vision (image classification, object detection)
  • Speech / Audio processing (good to have)

🔹 MLOps, Deployment & Production

• Experience deploying AI models using:
  • Flask / FastAPI
  • REST APIs
• Hands-on with Docker (mandatory)
• Understanding of:
  • Model versioning
  • CI/CD for ML
  • Model monitoring & retraining
• Exposure to Kubernetes (good to have)

🔹 Cloud & Big Data (At least one required)

• Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
• Familiarity with:
  • Cloud ML services (SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML)
  • Object storage & compute services
• Experience with Spark / PySpark is a plus

🔹 Data Visualization & Communication

• Ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Matplotlib / Seaborn / Plotly / Power BI / Tableau
• Strong documentation & presentation skills
