🔍 Role Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, deploy, and optimize scalable data science and machine learning solutions. You are expected to be hands-on, detail-oriented, and production-focused — not just experimental.

🧠 Core Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Programming & Data Handling

• Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy)
• Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, query optimization)
• Experience handling large-scale structured & unstructured datasets
• Exposure to PySpark / Spark SQL (preferred)

Machine Learning & Statistics

• Solid understanding of supervised & unsupervised learning
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Regression, Classification, Clustering
  • Tree-based models (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM)
  • Model evaluation, bias-variance tradeoff
• Strong foundation in:
  • Probability & statistics
  • Hypothesis testing
  • Feature engineering & selection
• Experience handling imbalanced datasets

Deep Learning (Good to Have)

• Working knowledge of TensorFlow / PyTorch
• Experience with NLP / Computer Vision / Time Series (any one is acceptable)
• Model optimization and performance tuning

Model Deployment & MLOps

• Experience deploying models into production environments
• Understanding of:
  • REST APIs (Flask/FastAPI)
  • Model versioning
  • CI/CD for ML pipelines
• Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes is a plus
• Monitoring model performance and data drift

Data Visualization & Storytelling

• Hands-on with Power BI / Tableau / Matplotlib / Seaborn
• Ability to convert complex data insights into business narratives
• Creating dashboards for leadership & stakeholders

Cloud & Big Data (Preferred)

• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
  • S3 / Blob Storage
  • SageMaker / Vertex AI / Azure ML
• Understanding of data pipelines and ETL workflows
