• Salary: $50,000 – $56,000 per year (FIXED – not negotiable)

Position Summary

The Assistant Production Manager will support the Production Planning Manager in executing and coordinating production plans across multiple manufacturing facilities. The role emphasizes scheduling, reporting, ERP data accuracy, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily, weekly, and monthly production scheduling
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, and Logistics on materials, labor, and capacity
• Monitor production performance and flag risks related to capacity, labor, or materials
• Maintain and update data within ERP/MRP systems
• Prepare and distribute production reports and KPIs, including:
  • Schedule adherence
  • Capacity utilization
  • Inventory status
• Support demand planning through forecast and lead-time updates
• Assist with capacity planning models and planning tools
• Track, update, and communicate schedule changes to stakeholders
• Support labor and resource planning based on forecasted volumes
• Maintain production planning documentation
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–4 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain roles
• Food or regulated manufacturing experience – REQUIRED
• Experience in shift-based manufacturing environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP or production planning systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
